To support our offshore portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Engineer to provide technical advisory support and Class coordination for day-to-day FPSO/FPU operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that marine systems, cargo and offloading operations, hull and tank integrity, and all marine-related activities comply with Operational Performance Standards (OPS), Class, Flag State, and regulatory requirements throughout the asset lifecycle.

This is a critical offshore-facing role requiring strong technical judgment, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work closely with operations, engineering, Class societies, and stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant FPSO/FPU operations.

As we continue to strengthen our offshore operations and support critical FPSO/FPU projects, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Marine Engineer who can provide technical leadership, ensure marine compliance, and drive operational excellence across offshore assets.

What You Will Do

• Act as Senior Marine Engineering Advisor and Class Coordinator for FPSO/FPU operations
• Ensure marine systems and operations comply with OPS, Class, Flag, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee cargo, condensate offloading, tank operations, and marine inspections
• Coordinate and manage Class and Flag State surveys, audits, and close-out actions
• Monitor marine system performance and recommend corrective/preventive actions
• Prepare and maintain marine procedures, work instructions, and guidelines
• Review and approve Marine-related Management of Change (MoC) requests
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons-learned implementation
• Conduct offshore visits to provide technical support and assurance
• Mentor offshore marine teams and support competency development
• Promote nationalization, teamwork, and strong offshore safety culture

What We Are Looking For

• Master Mariner Certificate or degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture
• 1015 years of experience in offshore oil & gas, EPC, or FPSO environments
• Minimum 10 years of offshore O&M experience (FPSO/FPU preferred)
• Strong knowledge of FPSO marine operations and offloading activities
• Sound understanding of ISM, ISPS, Class, Flag, and international maritime regulations
• Experience coordinating Class and Flag State surveys and inspections
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP / IFS) and performance monitoring tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, multidisciplinary offshore teams
• Comfortable operating in safety-critical, compliance-driven environments
