Job Description
The role is with a leading General Insurance company.
Role Property Underwriting.
Designation Senior Manager.
Reports to VP Property Underwriting.
Location Mumbai, head office.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of underwriting strategies (risk analysis, terms conditions, portfolio mix & profitability) and solutions (e.g. product development, underwriting tools and processes) for a portfolio, line of business.
- Monitor underwriting strategy relating to performance metrics, data and insights.
- Operate within established organization Risk Policy, Underwriting Guideline, underwriting governance policies and local rules & regulations.
- Contribute to development of technical underwriting guidelines, and Best Practices, including controls and procedures.
- Contribute to the Technical Underwriting Review Process.
Qualifications
- Ideal Candidate 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial lines of underwriting from General Insurance only.
- Must have experience of working in the Indian Insurance market.
- Should be from Mumbai or open for relocation to Mumbai.
