Job Description
Role Overview
This position leads the HR function for a large-scale upcoming large infrastructure project.
The role involves setting up HR operations for both on-roll and contractual employees,
ensuring statutory compliance, managing industrial relations, and partnering with leadership
for end-to-end site HR management.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Site Operations
Establish HR processes for a large industrial site
Implement HR frameworks for onboarding, engagement, performance & exits
Ensure seamless coordination between site teams, facilities & leadership
2. Industrial Relations & Compliance
Maintain a healthy IR environment
Manage union/labor interactions when required
Ensure full compliance with statutory & labor laws
Handle grievances, inquiries & disciplinary actions
3. Workforce Management
Manage deployment of on-roll and contract manpower
Ensure productivity, safety & workforce discipline
Support leadership in daily site operations
4. Culture & Capability Development
Build a culture of ownership, accountability & collaboration
Drive L&D initiatives based on site requirements
Act as the custodian of values and workplace ethics
Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in HR
57 years of experience in HR
Minimum 2 years in plant / industrial HR / IR
Working knowledge of labor laws & compliance
Strong stakeholder and leadership interaction skills
Greenfield project experience is a plus
