Senior Manager - Web Development

As a Manager / Senior Manager Web Development, youll play a critical role in designing and scaling high-performance backend systems that power customer-facing and internal platforms across broking and wealth. This role is ideal for a hands-on Golang expert who enjoys solving scale, performance, and reliability challenges in a real-world, high-impact environment.

Youll work closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and architecture teams, contributing to systems that handle large volumes, real-time data, and mission-critical workflows.

What Youll Be Building

• High-throughput backend services and APIs used by millions of transactions
• Scalable microservices architectures
• Secure, low-latency systems aligned with financial-grade reliability
• Cloud-native applications with modern CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance backend services using Golang
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication
• Architect and optimize microservices-based systems
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / MS SQL, Redis)
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following clean architecture principles
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated quality checks
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive long-term system improvements
• Mentor junior developers (for Senior Manager level)

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Golang (Go) strong, hands-on experience
• REST APIs, JSON, ProtoBufs
• SQL & NoSQL databases
• Clean architecture & microservices design
• Git version control
• Docker & Linux environments
• Strong understanding of performance tuning and scalability

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Exposure to CI/CD tools
• Prior experience in fintech, BFSI, or high-scale consumer platforms
• Knowledge of system observability, logging, and monitoring

Education
