Job Title: Senior Manager

The Senior Manager Data Engineering leads the strategy, design, and delivery of enterprisegrade data platforms, pipelines, and reporting solutions for VS&Co. This role oversees data engineering development teams and collaborates with business and technology leaders to enable topquality, scalable, and reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the enterprise data engineering roadmap in close partnership with business and technology partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing data engineering teams. Responsible for clear definition of objectives and development plans for team members.
• Provide technical and delivery leadership in implementing scalable data engineering solutions on the Snowflake platform.
• Lead the design and implementation of data visualization solutions on MicroStrategy and Looker.
• Work closely with the platform team to drive performance tuning and cost optimization on the Snowflake platform.
• Provide technical guidance in evaluating emerging tools and platforms.
• Estimate, plan, execute and govern data initiatives. Communicate project status, risks and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Work closely with business partners to translate business use cases into technical solutions.

Qualifications Education

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science/information systems

Required Skills

• 1015 years of experience in data engineering, reporting & dashboards, data architecture, and data platform development.
• 5+ years experience on Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• 10+ years designing data solutions
• 5+ years Hands on experience on data platforms like Snowflake/DataBricks/Bigquery/Synapse
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Kafka, ETL tools like Talend/Snaplogic
• Hands on experience architecting and designing data solutions
• Good knowledge on scheduling tools.
• 10+ years strong experience in reporting and dashboarding. Hands on expertise in MicroStrategy/Power BI/Looker.
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms and MLOps processes.
• 5+ years experience in designing data solutions in the Retail domain.
