Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Work with the Head Strategy and the team to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth, profitability, operational efficiency and market expansion.
- Lead and manage recurring strategic processes such as Long Range Planning (LRP) and Annual Operating Plans (AOP), ensuring seamless execution, cross-functional coordination and adherence to timelines.
- Conduct primary and secondary research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Investor Relations work with the Head of IR to develop and execute the Investor Relations strategy. Participate in select broker / investor meetings. Regularly prepare IR collaterals. Help plan the Investor Day event
Investment Strategy:
- Lead due diligence, valuation, and financial modelling for potential acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and external advisors (investment banks, PE firms) to execute transactions.
- Assess ROI and synergies for potential deals and oversee post-merger integration.
Financial & Market Analysis:
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and feasibility studies to support corporate strategy.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and regulatory developments to guide decision-making.
- Work closely with finance, commercial, and R&D teams to optimize capital allocation.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership:
- Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other senior executives to align strategic initiatives with business goals.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and financial institutions, to communicate corporate strategy.
- Mentor, guide, develop and lead a team of analysts and strategy professionals.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualification:
- MBA from a reputed institute / Chartered Accountant / Postgraduate or PhD in relevant sectors
Experience
- 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or similar. Exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)
- Strong experience in financial modelling and business transformation.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive high-impact strategic initiatives.
