The Big Data Service (BDS) team under Oracle Analytics has a charter to offer a managed, cloud-native Big Data Service focused on large-scale data processing and analytics on unstructured data stored in data lakes, and management of the data in data lakes. The service work scope encompasses not just good integration with OCI’s native infrastructure (compute, storage, networking etc.) but also deep integration with other relevant cloud native services in OCI (like Oracle Kubernetes, Data Catalog, ADW, etc.).   https://www.oracle.com/big-data/big-data-service/ 

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Software Development for the BDS team to help drive innovation, operational excellence and customer success for Big Data Service in OCI. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across all cross-organizational functions to deliver results. 
 
In this role, you will drive the design, development, and integration of state-of-the-art open-source technologies for enabling large-scale enterprises to build their data solutions on OCI.  You will collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and science to shape the Data Platform’s roadmap and deliver differentiated value to enterprise customers and partners.
