Senior Manager - Purchase - Bought Out

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manager - Purchase - Bought Out, based in Kolkata. The Senior Manager will oversee procurement strategies and supplier relationships, managing the sourcing of bought-out materials to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include supplier negotiation, evaluation of vendors, contract management, and monitoring supply chain operations. The position also requires collaboration with various internal departments to align purchasing objectives with overall business goals.

• Strong procurement and supplier management skills, including the ability to negotiate and evaluate vendors effectively.
• Proficiency in supply chain management, contract management, and inventory control practices.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably within the railway or OEM sector, is highly desirable.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes and drive cost efficiencies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using procurement and ERP software tools.
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; an advanced degree or certification (such as CPM, CSCP) is a plus.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
