Job Description
The Senior Manager of Program Management & Consultancy will handle a portfolio of several key initiatives, lead program tracking reviews and drive a consistent and effective approach to project and program management This role will work closely with D&A Operations leaders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of sophisticated transformation programs.
The role will play a consultative role supporting the D&A Operations Leadership team in developing future investment cases, helping to shape future Operations capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Portfolio/Program/Project Managers to understand and handle risk within key portfolios and implement LSEG Group standards for project governance and risk management
- Coordinate the preparation of portfolio status reports, keeping management appraised of portfolio progress, major risks and issues and scope and resource changes
- Lead the annual portfolio budget request process and regular financial reviews to supervise key financial portfolio metrics
- Build transparency around project health and reporting, tracking and reducing delivery risk at a program and portfolio level
- Handle a change roadmap and lead on the implementation of change management processes and policies
- Support the investment case development and submission process.
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
- Use project management methodologies to plan, organise and maintain resources to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined time-frame & standards
- Monitor risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, implementing formal change control standards and governance
- Collect, analyse and interpret data to produce management information to support key decision-making
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, legal requirements and principles
- Connect with transparency and precision, presenting sophisticated / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
- Define a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem.
- Interact well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks.
- Understand different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver within different ways of working
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft office knowledge (excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be prepared to work UK/US hours as and when required.
