Job Title
Your main responsibilities
(1) As a People Manager, you will:
- Be accountable for the performance of the team
- Lead and manage team of employees, providing direction, support and mentorship
- Set objectives and provide frequent and constructive feedback to the team members
- Create development plans, work with individuals for their career development
- Execute the Performance Development and Salary Review process of the team members
- Create a highly performing and motivated team which is empowered and self-organized
- Help team members to grow in their daily work
- Identify and address performance issues, providing coaching and feedback
- Identify training needs, work with relevant stakeholders to arrange online and offline training sessions
- Create Engagement action plans and track them to completion thereby improving engagement in teams
- Recognize / showcase exemplary work through appropriate forums
- Enable team members to expand their horizons of work, explore new areas and improve the functional understanding of the product
- Help in building teams / recruiting new members into the team
- Play a critical role as part of the leadership team, assisting management in taking on additional responsibilities as needed
- Lead or contribute effectively to transversal initiatives within / across the unit
(2) As a Functional leader of Product Managers and Product Owners, you will:
- Lead the Product Managers throughout the Product Life Cycle (Amadeus’s PLC process) and artefacts
- Drive Product strategy in alignment with business strategy and customer needs
- Define product Objectives and Key Results, North Star Metrics and success Key Performance Indicators.
- Lead the product through the entire product lifecycle.
- Understand customer pain points, needs, define and prioritize the roadmap
- Lead a team of Product Owners. Ability to work in a SAFe Agile framework development environment, which will involve continuous improvement mindset.
- Be accountable for own areas of work, influence prioritization based on customer needs, track and monitor successful deliveries, support in all relevant phases of product life cycle management.
- Create product roadmap working with different stakeholders such as Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Ensure that the solution meets user needs and product readiness
- Participate to Agile Release Train iteration reviews when applicable / required
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development teams.
- Continuously refine backlog and explain business needs to the stakeholders
- Ensure that technical solutions are in line with your functional expectations, delivery timeline and acceptable cost.
- Test features and ensure compliance with defined acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
- Strive to shortest possible time to market of business value by delivering minimum viable product (MVP).
- Support acceptance test-driven development by participating in the development of story acceptance criteria.
- Assist in release planning, help in commitment on deliveries as per the roadmap.
- Raise risks with regards to feature commitments and help teams mitigate risks.
- Drive functional discussions with the customers / representatives to find solutions to problems and help teams progress in feature delivery.
- Drive status updates to Senior Management / leadership through appropriate forums, help them understand the current state of projects.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience and dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvements across product / own areas of responsibility
Required skills and qualifications:

- SAFe way of working (Good to have)
- Experience in Software Development Lifecyle and Agile Methodology
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in engineering (in software branches e.g. Computer Science, Information Science etc.)
- Preferably master’s degree in business (e.g., MBA)
- 12+ years of overall experience and a minimum 9+ years of end-to-end Software Product Management experience
- Relevant certificates/courses in Product Management, Product Marketing etc.
