Senior Manager - Product Planning [Cross Carline Technology]

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Collaboration & Influence

• Partner with product planners to support business case execution and recommend suitable technology aligned with success criteria (cost, perceived quality, regulatory targets etc.).
• Forge relationships with key vendors specializing in advanced technologies. Analyse the technology fit for our vehicle portfolio and build a case for integration in future models. 

• Act as a liaison with key stakeholders like R&D, Design, Supplier Sourcing Unit (SSU), and CDMM (Component Development and Material Management) to facilitate smooth implementation of new technologies.

• Deliver  compelling business presentations to senior leadership, clearly communicating strategic insights and recommendations. Foster a collaborative environment, working with cross-functional teams across departments to solve business problem effectively

Experience

8-10 years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage projects from concept to completion.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry (either OEM or Technology Tier 1) is preferred.
• Prior experience in strategic sourcing of technology is good to have.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

General Requirements

Key Tecnical expertise

• Deep knowledge in SDV, cockpit technologies, connectivity solutions, ADAS functionalities, and in-cabin features.
• Working knowledge of AI and futuristic technologies that can be implemented in vehicles
• Working understanding of mobile applications, OTA updates, UI/UX and customer journeys
