Senior Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional to lead our city-level expansion and operations across multiple cities in the Rest of India (RoI) region. As a City/Multiple Cities Head – Senior Manager, you will be instrumental in launching, scaling, and managing operations across key Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. This role requires hands-on leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to build high-performing local teams.

Initially based in Bangalore, the role involves extensive travel across assigned cities, with a plan to relocate to Eastern India as operations scale.

Key Responsibilities

• City Launch & Expansion: Drive end-to-end city launches, including market research, local partnerships, regulatory approvals, and team setup.

• Operational Leadership: Own P&L for assigned cities. Drive performance metrics including customer acquisition, revenue, operational efficiency, and service quality.

• Team Building & Management: Recruit, train, and manage city-level teams; ensure alignment with central and regional goals.

• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with central support teams, local authorities, vendors, and key partners.

• Strategic Planning: Identify regional growth opportunities and develop plans for rapid and sustainable scale-up.

• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in each city.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in business operations, expansion, or general management roles, preferably in startups, logistics, mobility, or consumer tech sectors.

• Strong leadership and people management skills; ability to manage teams remotely.

• Proven track record of managing multiple city operations or projects.

• Willingness to travel extensively and relocate to Eastern India as needed.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• High ownership mindset and entrepreneurial drive.
