AB InBev India is looking to hire "Senior Manager - Performance and Planning Management (PPM)" for its logistics team based out of Bangalore.
Accountabilities:
As a Logistics PPM, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost efficiency, process optimization, and performance management across our brewery and distribution center (DCs) network. Acting as a strategic partner to both operational and financial teams, you will ensure robust budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management, while also leading initiatives to optimize logistics costs and enhance supply chain performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to the operational and financial aspects of a manufacturing supply chain, preparing you for future leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Cost Management
- Collaborate with Business Unit (BU), Zone PPM, and subject matter experts to build and manage budgets for both variable and fixed costs.
- Identify and drive cost efficiency initiatives in partnership with brewery and DC leadership.
- Forecasting & Financial Control
- Lead monthly forecasting of actual vs. budgeted costs, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Analyze risks and opportunities (R&O) to proactively manage cost deviations.
Performance Optimization
- Partner with HQ experts and local teams to identify and implement cost optimization and savings opportunities.
- Support process improvement initiatives to streamline logistics operations.
KPI Management & Data Integrity
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational KPIs reported by brewery teams.
- Collaborate with leadership to keep KPIs within budgeted targets.
Reporting & Analysis
- Adhere to monthly reporting routines, submitting timely and accurate reports and analyses to the Zone PPM team.
- Conduct rigorous data analysis to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Presentations
- Build and deliver presentations for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews with India and Zone leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (procurement, transportation, warehousing) to ensure seamless operations.
Project Leadership
- Lead or support transformation projects (e.g., Power BI dashboarding, automation, SKU rationalization).
- Drive business case development and support strategic planning (e.g., 10YP, S&OP, BCP).
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education & Experience
- Masters degree, Business, Finance or Cost Management
- Experience in manufacturing, beer/alco-beverage, or soft drink industry preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP-based ERP systems is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools preferred.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking; comfortable working with large, unstructured datasets.
