Job Description

Job Purpose Statement: Leading NBFC is seeking to hire a Senior Manager Operational Risk which will be able to support Operational Risk Management activities in the areas of KRI, RCSA, Fraud Detection, Loss Data Management, Business Continuity Management, Change Management Process, Thematic audit.


Duties & Responsibilities

Technical skills:

  1. Develop operational risk related frameworks for risk management.
  2. Maintain and update the Risks and Controls Matrix in connection with the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Process
  3. Conduct end to end RCSA exercise and monitor closure of open action points.
  4. Conduct end to end KRI exercise and monitor closure of open action points.
  5. Review operational risk incidents and other aspects of loss data management. Monitor the implementation status of the action plans.
  6. Assist stakeholders in new product/process approval formalities.
  7. Assist business units in vendor onboarding process and other aspects of Outsourcing Policy
  8. Conduct outsourcing arrangements and vendor reviews.
  9. Assist in Senior Management Reporting, conduct analysis, presentations etc.
  10. Perform special projects, thematic reviews and additional duties as assigned.
  11. Inform employees on risk policies and guidelines to build a risk aware culture and practice across the organization.
  12. Maintain and update the Risks and Controls Matrix in connection with the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Process

Soft skills:

  1. Stakeholder management for conducting Operational and Outsourcing Risk related activities.
  2. Ability to present information as needed in an appropriate and professional manner.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills


Job Requirements

Professional Qualification

  1. M.B.A. from a Premier institute/MSc. Stats
  2. / PG Eco. (Applied Eco.)/ CA
  3. 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk
  4. Work experience with a bank / Operational risk function is required.

Knowledge

  1. In-depth knowledge of risk mitigation techniques that are appropriate for use in complex, service-based environments.
  2. Knowledge of Change Control
  3. Knowledge and ability to handle Data / data tools
