  • Job Title: Senior Manager HR Operations
  • Reports to: Head of HR
  • Team Structure: HR Operations Manager(s) & Regional HRBPs.
  • Base Location: Malad (Mindspace), Mumbai
  • Position Type: Full-time, in-office, 5 days a week
  • Industry Type: Healthcare


Role Context:


GynoVeda is a healthcare-first, clinic-led organisation , not a corporate office setup. The Senior Manager- HR Ops is expected to own and run the entire employee lifecycle (offer to exit) across clinics and HO. Ensure process discipline, grievance closure, compliance, and retention without slowing business or creating HR dependency.


This is a hands-on leadership role , not an advisory role.


Core Responsibilities:


HR Operations: Employee Lifecycle (Offer to Exit)

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle across clinics and HO
  • Offer issuance, joining, and onboarding
  • Attendance, leave, payroll inputs
  • Transfers, confirmations, promotions
  • Exit management and F&F
  • Single owner for lifecycle consistency
  • Create, simplify, and enforce HR SOPs, templates, and trackers
  • Zero tolerance for process drift


HRBP Direction (Clinics + HO)

  • Direct regional HRBPs
  • Define escalation paths
  • Ensure grievance resolution within TAT
  • Personally handle high-risk or repeat cases
  • Measure HRBPs on closure quality, not activity


Grievance & Employee Relations

  • Own grievance framework end-to-end
  • Handle behavioural and performance-linked cases
  • Balance employee fairness with business continuity
  • Reduce escalations reaching founders


Retention & Performance Interventions

  • Retention-first mindset with business realism
  • Intervene when strong performers dip
  • Stabilise clinics during team disruption
  • Diagnose systemic attrition drivers


Healthcare Execution

  • Understand clinic pressure, doctor dynamics, patient sensitivity
  • Apply practical judgement, not corporate templates
  • Maintain ethics, discipline, and speed


Candidate Profile (Non-Negotiable):


  • Methodical, process-driven, execution-focused
  • Hands-on; comfortable at ground level
  • Clear judgment under pressure
  • Balances employee well-being with business goals
  • Retention-oriented
  • Healthcare/retail / frontline-heavy experience mandatory
  • Is open to travel

  • Policy-only or corporate HR profiles
  • Advisory mindset
  • Avoids tough conversations
  • Over-empathetic at the cost of performance
  • Designation-driven or hierarchical
  • Needs excessive direction


Required Skill set:


  • 10+ years HR experience
  • Led HR Ops + HRBPs at scale
  • Multi-location workforce exposure mandatory


Success Indicators:


  • Built the right framework for enabling business
  • Fewer people escalations to HR Head and Founders
  • Clinics run without HR firefighting
  • Grievances closed early and cleanly
  • HRBPs operate independently and decisively
  • Strong performers (HIPOs) retained longer
