Job Description

The Senior Manager / Expert Employer Brand and External Communications is an Individual Contributor role that reports to the VP Corporate Communications, DEIB, CSR, and is responsible for all external communication and employer branding initiatives of AXA Global Business Services globally.


Work Location - Bangalore


As a senior member of the Corporate Communications Team, the ideal candidate will come with a global communications experience of more than 12 years, with a passionate zeal to elevate the employer brand and reputation of AXA. The role entails but is not limited to planning and executing employer branding events, public relations, industry and university relations, social media management and execution, and website content management.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Aligned to the Global Corporate Communications and Employer Brand strategy: drive and deliver in developing an integrated global employee value proposition for AXA GBS across locations.
  • An ideal candidate would be able to navigate complex organizational structures and play strong as one to consult and act by understanding multiple stakeholders points of view.
  • Understands the GCC/GBS landscape in India and Morocco and bring an intelligent point of view to shape the branding needs of AXA GBS in partnership with various stakeholders.
  • Based on the employer brand strategy and partner communication strategy, build and execute comprehensive external reputation plans and calendars for AXA GBS, in partnership with various industry stakeholders (universities, colleges, industry bodies, media)
  • Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives related to employer branding, including social media campaigns, SEO, and online reputation management.
  • Dare to explore, dive, and write better and relevant content, and work with leaders and executives to draft and publish compelling content/thought leadership.
  • Leverage analytics to measure the impact of digital strategies and refine approaches as needed.
  • Stays ahead of the curve, by working closely with the market research team, and identifies, advises on industry trends and insights that can enhance the employer brand.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and repurpose success stories, employee testimonials, and case studies.
  • Work closely with the in-house teams who play a culture role, to identify culture related stories.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of employer branding and external communication initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on brand perception, engagement metrics, and market positioning.
  • Plan and execute employer branding events, job fairs, and other initiatives to promote the organization as an employer of choice, globally.
  • While the role is that of an individual contributor, a fun-loving individual who brings high energy in a team and loves being around people fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Ensure all external communications adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Manage day-to-day agency relationships for external communication.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting employer branding and communications.
  • Understands the importance of creativity; and has curiosity and aptitude in leveraging AI tools.
  • Understands budgeting processes and manages the external communication budget with clearly driven ROIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years+ of experience in a global communications team, as an individual contributor/manager with specialization in employer branding, external communications, or related fields.
  • Understanding, and ability to research the talent market and employer branding landscape; and a proven track record of building and executing employer brand initiatives in other geographies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with rational thinking.
  • Ability to influence without authority across levels and navigate complex organizational priorities and stakeholders.
  • Deep working knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics.
