What You Will Do
- Drive new merchant acquisition by identifying and onboarding high-potential Emerging and Enterprise merchants across key industry verticals.
- Own a pure hunting role, responsible for building a strong pipeline and closing high-value deals.
- Lead and manage a team of Assistant managers / Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
- Build and execute strategic sales plans, go-to-market strategies, and merchant acquisition frameworks.
- Monitor team pipeline, track deal progress, and drive accountability for revenue and merchant acquisition targets.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and operations teams to craft tailored payment solutions for merchants.
- Build strong CXO-level relationships with prospective merchants and key stakeholders.
- Stay updated on payments industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership to shape product improvements and growth strategies.
- Work closely with leadership to define the growth roadmap and expansion strategy for the Emerging Business segment.
What You Will Need
- 712 years of experience in Payment Gateway / Fintech sales, with a strong track record in merchant acquisition.
- Prior experience managing and mentoring sales teams in a high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to drive hunting-led sales while managing team performance and targets.
- Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem and fintech products.
- Experience in solution-based or product-led sales.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, and ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
