Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Senior Manager - DPR/Pre-Engineering based in Bhopal. The Senior Manager will oversee detailed project preparation activities, ensure the planning and execution of engineering designs, and manage pre-engineering tasks. The role requires to execute, lead, and deliver projects by driving day-to-day technical delivery, managing surveys/ ground investigation data, leading project teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions aligned with project milestones and billable targets. The role requires to undertake periodic visits to project sites to monitor compliance of proposal with applicable standards and smooth execution of services. The Senior Manager will also play a pivotal role in aligning with organizational goals to drive project success.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead execution of DPR and pre-engineering works from conceptualization to final submission.
• Manage, and oversee site survey activities including topographical surveys, traffic surveys, soil investigations, and hydrological studies.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of Projects.
• Responsible for overseeing the timely completion of pre-construction activities, including land acquisition and clearance works, including preliminary assessments, detailed surveys, documentation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
• Responsible for managing regular submissions and progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within timeline.
• Ensure compliance with IRC codes and applicable standards.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, resolve issues, and ensure best engineering practices.
• Lead and take ownership of output quality, timelines, and closures.
• Frequent travel to project sites for coordination, monitoring, and reviews.
• To possess a comprehensive understanding of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

Qualifications/ Pre Requisites

• B.E./ B.Tech (Civil Engineering) | M.Tech Transportation preferred.
• At least 10 years experience in highway DPR / pre-engineering projects.
• Experience with NHAI, NHIDCL, State Highway or Expressway projects preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in highway DPR & pre-engineering execution.
• Ability to drive their teams to deliver within deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of surveys, traffic engineering, and land acquisition processes.
• Commercial and schedule awareness to achieve delivery with billables.
• Strong written and verbal communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
