Sr. Manager - Digital || Bengaluru, IN
Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager Digital is accountable for the ideation, to discovery and delivery of Digital solutions as a leader for Digital products and platforms in a given segment, or function for ADM.
The Sr. Manager Digital would drive the Digital & Innovation portfolio of projects in Finance, HR, Legal, Communications and other corporate functions, along with the Segments (ASO, Nutrition, Carbohydrates). to identify opportunities, rapid prototyping of the solutions, and iterate/ expand them to finished product in line with Business feedback.
The Sr. Manager Digital will be strategic interface between Business and the Digital & Innovation team, who identifies opportunity, conducts deep dive sessions, workshops to understand the process, as-is landscape, applications, data and works with the Engineering team (AI, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Full stack developers) to deliver rapid prototypes, and expand those further to products. The Sr. Manager - Digital is a key partner and trusted advisor for the Business stakeholders, and the Digital Engineering teams to help bring value to ADM faster through Digital capabilities. The Sr. Manager - Digital is a forward thinker, always looking at opportunities to continuously improve, and work on Lean principles to simplify the processes & Solutions.
Key skills in this position include extensive knowledge about Business processes, and Technology landscape with the ability to work with global teams and cultures, collaborate with and influence others, as well as lead teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Executive Translation & Execution: Serve as the key translator between Business stakeholders and Digital Product & Platform Engineering teams. Systematically synthesize strategic and tactical requirements into clearly defined, resourced, and fully operationalized digital roadmaps (including Data, AI, Automation) to drive business value.
- Global Team and Product Ownership: Accountable for overall Digital solutions, directly leading a global product team of Engineers and Analysts. Define, maintain, and communicate the Digital Solutions Roadmap from ideation, rapid prototyping, and value proof to deployment and backlog management.
- Enterprise Accountability & Value Management: Accountable for negotiating, reporting, and managing the overall digital solutions provided. Measure success against Business Value Identification, proving the value, and optimizing costs and resources at an enterprise scale.
- Establish and govern the operating model for digital demand intake and prioritization across all corporate functions, ensuring resource alignment, clear ROI projection, and consistent decision-making criteria for the portfolio of digital investments.
- Optimize the digital investments allocated for corporate function digital capabilities, driving cost-efficiency, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Support organizational change management (OCM) efforts associated with digital solution deployment, collaborating closely with functional leadership and HR to ensure high user adoption, proficiency, and sustained realization of projected business benefits.
- Cultivate and maintain high-trust relationships with key vendors and third-party partners essential for delivering the digital roadmap, negotiating service level agreements (SLAs), managing performance, and continuously assessing external market solutions for best-fit application.
- Instill a continuous improvement and data and digital-driven culture within the product teams, utilizing metrics, usage data, and user feedback loops to relentlessly refine deployed digital solutions and inform the future feature pipeline (backlog).
- Domain & Technology Balance: Possess the unique balance of deep domain expertise in Finance & Accounting, HR, Legal, Manufacturing, Supply Chain data models and technical expertise across the Digital ecosystem (ERP, Data & Analytics) to partner effectively with both Business SMEs and technical partners.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields. Masters degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 7+ years of experience with a Masters Degree.
