We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Billing to join our team and oversee billing operations for complex projects, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, engineers, finance and related stakeholders, to maximize overall billing. This is a key responsible role for managing billing strategies, ensuring accuracy, and driving improvements in billing processes. The individual will be a key player in driving the Billing process, aligning with project teams, and ensuring seamless invoicing.

Portfolio: Project Billing Operations, Stakeholder Coordination, driving Process Improvement

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage billing activities for ongoing projects to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient invoicing
• Drive monthly and quarterly billing forecasts in line with Revenue and hold regular reviews with stakeholders to ensure billing goals are met
• Strong background in managing billing for complex, multi-phased projects with various stakeholders
• Aligning billing pool to cover collection plan for the month/quarter/ year
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and finance teams to create and manage billing plans aligned with project timelines and goals
• Maximize billing, ensure that billing is aligned with contractual terms and revenue recognition principles
• Directly engage with customers when needed to ensure all billing approvals are in place
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve billing cycles, to make room for collections on time
• Ensure the timely submission of billing requests from project teams and address any invoicing-related issues
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve issues hindering billing/ collection

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project billing management, ideally in a leadership capacity
• Expertise in revenue recognition, billing methodologies (e.g., time & materials, fixed price), and financial systems (ERP, billing software)
• Expertise in MS Excel (advanced level) for data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with other project management tools
• Experience working closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to align billing strategies with business goals.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate, timely billing
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders effectively
