We are looking for a highly qualified Legal Manager to oversee the contractual legal aspects of our business. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advice to business about all relevant issues. The successful candidate will effectively ensure legal conformity and minimize probability of risk exposure.

Job Description

• Drafting, vetting and negotiating various cross-border Agreements, Contracts and other documents including service agreements, sub-contracts, RFP(s), Non-Disclosure agreements with clients /vendors /partners.
• Ability to analyse legal implications of various issues and advising various internal stakeholders.
• Coordinating with various internal stakeholders and advising the business teams on the contracting/compliance.
• Collaborate within the legal team to share knowledge, improve efficiency and continuously increase the added value of the legal function for the business.
• Strong legal and business acumen.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issues with diverse levels of management and employees.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law (BA.LLB) or equivalent degree from a leading university and/or law school.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience as an in-house counsel handling contract review, drafting and negotiation.
• Extensive experience in commercial contracting within the US and UK sectors
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven background on corporate law (contract law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing laws)
• Experience managing people and developing high performing lawyers and legal professionals
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
