Senior Manager: Cloud Platform Engineering

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, hiring, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team of engineers. Serve as a though leader in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support our growing cloud ecosystem and drive innovation in our network architecture. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Drive execution and delivery of Platform engineering initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, and development leads. 
• Collaborate with Architects, Security, and Software Engineering teams to integrate cloud services with GCP-based applications and services.  
• Lead and grow a team of engineers focused on infrastructure, networking, and platform reliability. 
• Ensure clear priorities and adequate resources for teams. 
• Advocate for technical excellence and maintain a high-performing culture.  
• Stay up to date with GCP networking features and trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our cloud infrastructure.  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 15+ years of technical expertise with 5+ years of engineering management experience and 3+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering. 
• Deep expertise in cloud networking technologies, including VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancing, and DNS, Cloud VPN and hybrid connectivity. 
• Demonstrated ability to serve as the technical lead for large-scale, multi-quarter engineering efforts influencing strategic direction across the organization. 
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (GCP), Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform). 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a bias toward clarity and action. 
• A track record of leading complex cross-functional projects and delivering measurable impact. 
• Excellent track record of designing and scaling systems with reliability and performance in mind. 
• Relevant GCP certifications are highly desirable.

• India – (Flexible hybrid work model - work from Bangalore office for 20 days in a quarter)
