Role Overview

ISPP is seeking a senior, execution-oriented leader tobuild and scale Career Services & Placements as a strategic function, not an administrative one.

This role will lead career outcomes for scholars, deepen employer partnerships, and activate ISPPs alumni ecosystem as a powerful hiring and mentorship network.

You will report to the Director - Executive Education & Career Services and work closely with faculty, leadership, alumni, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

Career Services & Placements

• Build and manage recruiter partnerships across consulting, government advisory, CSR, development, think tanks, ESG, and public affairs
• Drive end-to-end placement strategy: employer outreach, role mapping, scholar preparation, and offer conversion
• Coach scholars on career strategy, CV positioning, interviews, and sector navigation
• Organise placement drives, employer interactions, networking sessions, and career fairs
• Track placement outcomes and generate insights to strengthen programme design

Alumni Engagement

• Strengthen the alumni network as a mentorship, hiring, and advocacy ecosystem
• Design alumni initiatives: mentoring programmes, alumni talks, newsletters, and networking events
• Encourage alumni participation in hiring, guest sessions, and institutional initiatives

Industry & Ecosystem Engagement

• Build partnerships with corporates, government bodies, consulting firms, NGOs, foundations, and policy institutions
• Curate industry panels, roundtables, and practitioner-led sessions
• Identify collaboration opportunities for executive education and joint initiatives

Who Were Looking For

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Public Policy, Management, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in placements, career services, partnerships, or alumni engagement
• Strong cross-sector professional network
• Proven ability to convert relationships into measurable outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Execution-oriented, systems builder, and institution-minded
• Deep interest in public policy, education, and social impact
