Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Museum Manager located in Pune. The Senior Museum Manager will oversee day-to-day museum operations, ensure the smooth functioning of exhibits, and implement visitor engagement strategies. Responsibilities include managing museum staff, curating and maintaining collections, coordinating exhibitions, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance regulations, and building strategic partnerships to enhance the museum's visibility. The role also involves managing budgets, reporting on operational performance, and driving initiatives to improve visitor experiences.

Qualifications

• Exhibit curation, collection management, and handling artifacts
• Experience in visitor engagement, public speaking, and event management
• Leadership and team management skills
• Ability to manage budgets and prepare operational reports
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in using museum-specific software or digital tools is a plus
• A degree in Museum Studies, History, Arts Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in museum environments or similar cultural institutions preferred
• Work in sports field
