Senior Manager -Business excellence( Installation )

Role Overview :To Support regional  service teams Professionals in the regions towards excellence for achievement of business objectives in NE  Function through the following:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the  Technical aspect of NE and Bex  and provide strategic direction for the team to achieve Margins, cost reduction,
  •  Identifying NE Field  needs of the field and working with respective teams  
  • Manage the monthly forecast wrt  Variation Order booking and Completions  and develop strategies to meet and exceed forecasted targets, contributing to the overall business.  
  • Develop Key Account strategy – Meeting the Key account customers 
  • Develop Major /Key account execution  strategy
  • Develop new installation methods , tools and vendor for scaffoldless installation to improve the productivity of the field
  • Work with the Transformation team (HO ) and Pilots in the field for more adoption of the App
  • Work towards field purchase  analysis and strategy
  • MIS / Reporting / Review with team.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects aligned to functional areas, operating unit (OU), or operating area (OA) priorities, or KPI improvements,

On a typical day you will:

  • Monitoring  Major projects execution Forecasts and Results: Keep a close eye on Risk assessment , Risk mitigation ,  to ensure no overspending and no escalation
  • Ensuring  closures as per the forecast, Driving  improvement
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NE Field , identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Exercise cost optimization during order booking and mutual agreement with field and Marketing Review monitor and control field Expenses
  • Review and monitor project timeline and share MIS to management 
  • Discuss and project risk for completion and cost control .Review cost coverage and cash milestones along with finance. Monitor and implement cost saving opportunities 
  • Support in project management plan and documentation
  • Implement uniform project management practices through out field wrt bench mark
  • Maintain risk register and mitigation plan as a central PMO
  • Supported in collaborating the resolution of critical field purchases supporting field for crucial completions and customer escalations

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering,  . PMP certified , Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the elevator  industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Expertise in New equipment Installation  business , forecasting, and margin improvement , with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  •  Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Exposure to latest trends in Customer Service, must have sound knowledge in technical, commercial aspects as well as soft skills.
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) and lead for other continuous improvement associates on the team.
  • Develop action plans to address deficiencies regarding safety, and technical support
  • Recommend and detail changes  coordination with Source factories -methods, process, design, and delivery
  • Conduct field education training ensuring that we create and maintain a safe working environment
