Job Description
Responsibilities
Consulting w/ CPG/Consumer Electronic majors solving their Supply Chain business problems
Apply domain experience (supply chain), analytical skills to conceptualize and create and implement solution prototypes around Demand planning, Demand allocation, DRP, MPS, Capacity Planning, Production Scheduling, Plant management, MRP, replenishment planning
Understand processes related to Demand optimization, Inventory Optimization, Supply Allocation and Sourcing, Replenishment Management, Production Scheduling, Capacity Management to provide best in class solutions, approach to solve problem revolving around these points
Handle large datasets Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights
Independently lead client conversations and engagements
Participate in client meetings, workshops and understand supply chain situation/issues
Good project management and team leading skills
Good analytical planning tool knowledge
Handling projects and client engagements
Experience in deals management
Minimum Qualifications
MBA/M Tech Industrial Engineering or Management /PG in Engineering or Statistics/Ph.D. in Operations research/optimization domain
Strong prior Analytics Experience in supply chain planning
Exposure in ERPs SAP, JDE, Oracle, etc.
Hands-on experience in Supply Chain areas like Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Material Planning
Demonstrates problem solving skills and working under tight timelines; multi-tasking abilities; exception based management capability
Worked on Digital Transformation (data strategy incl orchestration, Governance, Architecture, BI to build reporting/insights/analytics factory)
Ability to lead and manage a team with a continuous improvement mind-set.
Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external partners
Ability to learn new systems quickly and demonstrate systems and information to influence others
Strong data visualization skills, MS Office skills
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Certifications like CPIM / CSCP
Written and published whitepapers/ research papers around supply planning problems
Has conducted assessments / blueprinting/due diligence for prioritization problem statements, planning offshore ability, building solution architecture
Has done modeling work for solving core business issues using forecasting, predictive modeling, Machine learning/python / R
Knowledge of logistics/ transportation planning process
