Role Description

Join the founding team at ProCertus and help in building a cutting-edge Semantic

Platform designed to help enterprises discover deep insights from their

proprietary data. We are looking for an experienced, "AI native" senior engineer

to take a leading role in building our solution. You will be responsible for

architecting and implementing a system that leverages Large Language Models

(LLMs) and a PostgreSQL vector store to break down data silos. This role is

critical to delivering our value proposition: a unified semantic layer that allows

all enterprise users to get answers via ad-hoc natural language queries.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of the core components of the Semantic

Platform.

Architect the system that integrated Graph Database into the platform.

Build and optimize data "Connectors" that help extract information from

various data silos.

Build efficient solutions using vector database.

Streamline prompt management to help with Large Language Model

integration.

Ensure the system is scalable, secure, and meets compliance.

Mentor junior engineers and drive technical best practices, helping to

build a system that eliminates the need for specialized staff like data

engineers or analysts for end-users.

Requirements

10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on

building AI-driven, data-intensive applications.

Proven experience designing and building systems using LLMs and vector

stores.

Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL, including its capabilities as a vector

store.

Strong experience in backend development (e.g., Python, C, Go, Java) and

system architecture.

Experience with data modeling, data normalization, and building semantic

layers.

Familiarity with concepts from RAG pipelines, Agentic workflow.

Skills

Deep technical knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and

Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Expertise in PostgreSQL and vector database technologies.

Proficiency in system design, data structures, and algorithms.

Ability to build and maintain scalable data connectors.

Strong leadership and mentoring skills
