About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant - Strategic Consulting Engagement Lead (Executive Director) into People Analytics.


In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience influencing executives and/or their strategy by synthesizing analyses into actionable insights and impactful presentations.
  • Progressive experience in people analytics, HR strategy, or management consulting.
  • Proven experience leading strategic consulting engagements and influencing senior leaders.
  • Experience with workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • feedback/direction and manage and build relationships with leaders and employees.
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with multiple businesses and functional areas and across all levels of the organization including Senior Leaders and Executives.
  • Proven ability to effectively influence partner and negotiate at all internal organizational levels to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
  • Background in change management or organizational development is a plus.
  • Experience with the data, reporting and analytics requirements of enterprise-level implementations.
  • Ability to effectively manage and engage teams, drive results, navigate conflict, provide solution.
  • Experience in both influencing and leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) products and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) for analysis, insight generation and consulting engagements.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills.
  • High comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborative, with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.


Job Expectations:

  • Consult with executive leaders across HR and the business, and lead the review and research of complex talent, business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth analysis and/or evaluation leveraging a wide array of possible data factors.
  • Lead across multiple efforts in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and competing priorities.
  • Strategize, plan and lead analytics programs that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk as part of a geographically distributed team.
  • Advise line of business and HR functions on business strategies based on research of HR metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to inform and influence talent strategy.
  • Guide and consult senior leaders on advanced analyses that cross multiple HR domains.
  • Navigate multiple data sources, reporting tools and products to perform analysis and deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Translate research, complex analyses and technical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand business terms.
  • Follow designated controls and processes to ensure adherence to relevant risk management, legal and compliance expectations, and requirements.
