Role Description

Experienced Senior Layout Engineer (1015 years) with strong expertise in plant layout design for industrial mineral processing and bulk material handling plants.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years experience in plant layout engineering for Mineral processing / material handling plants.
• Strong knowledge of belt conveyors, bucket elevators, transfer towers, conveyor galleries, chutes, hoppers, feeders, and silos.
• Experience in structural and building layout integration, including equipment structures, process buildings, and maintenance platforms.
• Good understanding of bulk material behavior (bulk density, angle of repose, flowability, abrasiveness, moisture effects).
• Knowledge of working principles and layout integration of Knife Gate Valves, Rotary Airlock Valves (RAV), Diverter Gates, and Magnetic Separators.
• Familiarity with OSHA and industrial safety standards, including safe access systems, guardrails, walkways, and maintenance clearances.
• Experience in transfer tower layout, conveyor routing, and chute transfer points.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Plant 3D / SolidWorks / Inventor / Tekla preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams.
• Experience supporting site installation, inspection, and commissioning activities.

Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
