Job Description
Job responsibilities :-
Merchandising Strategy & Planning
- Develop seasonal merchandising plans aligned with brand strategy and financial goals.
- Analyze sales data to forecast demand and optimize product assortments.
- Plan product range by category, price point, materials, and target customer profiles.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle from range planning to end-of-life markdowns.
- Assist in seasonal range reviews and collection evaluations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with design and buying teams to develop commercial product ranges.
- Partner with marketing for promotional calendars, product launches, and campaigns.
- Provide product knowledge and sales strategies to retail teams.
Vendor Management
- Identify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international jewellery vendors.
- Regularly assess vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize margins and ensure timely stock availability.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure adherence to brand quality standards, materials specifications, and ethical sourcing requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely development of samples, production, and dispatches according to the merchandising calendar.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Jewellery Merchandising or a related field.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in merchandising, ideally within jewellery or luxury accessories.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and merchandising tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and commercially driven.
- Passion for jewellery and market trends.
