Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to build scalable, secure, and high-performance financial applications . The role involves designing and developing backend systems using microservices architecture on Azure , collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and microservices architecture.
• Build secure, high-performance financial systems aligned with industry best practices.
• Develop and enhance backend services on Microsoft Azure with a cloud-native approach.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka .
• Collaborate with Architects, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews , performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex issues.
• Optimize application security, performance, and scalability in cloud environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 610 years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+) development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Proven experience with Microservices architecture .
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong working knowledge of Apache Kafka and messaging systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases .
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain .
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX, etc.).
• Experience with high-volume, low-latency transaction systems .
• Exposure to event-driven and distributed system design .
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
