Product Overview
CAE Civil Flight Services provides a comprehensive suite of digital solutions that help airlines and business aircraft operators efficiently plan operations, deploy personnel, and optimize performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Our ecosystem brings together CAE, Merlot, RB Group, and Airline Operations Portfolio solutions, serving Commercial Aviation, Business Aviation, and Crew Engagement markets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ideal for an analytical person eager to learn new things every day.
  • Responsible for handling application tasks related to an in‑house application.
  • Operates production systems under general direction and builds automation to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Designs and develops tools and scripts using various scripting languages for monitoring, deployment, and automation.
  • Works under minimal supervision with few direct instructions.
  • Builds and utilizes automation tools aligned with the release management process.
  • Participates actively in Change, Incident, Problem, and Knowledge Management processes, including on‑call support.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, triages, and takes action on production system incidents.
  • Designs and implements improvements to enhance system stability and uptime across Production, Integration, Certification, and Staging environments.
  • Supports technical coordination with service integrators, vendors, and partners.
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork, knowledge sharing, and documentation practices.
  • Manages outages and emergency situations with Business Units and external providers.
  • Implements new and updated hardware and software solutions for development and production environments.
  • Performs system enhancements (software and hardware updates) to improve performance and reliability.
  • Exercises sound judgment within defined procedures and practices.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Software Engineering for software products.
  • Jasper Reports 8.3 and 9.x administration (must have).
  • Strong knowledge of IaaS and automation tools:
    • Terraform (mandatory)
    • Ansible (mandatory)
    • OpenShift (preferred)
  • AWS certification.(Preferred)
  • Linux and Windows OS at administrator level.
  • ITSM knowledge required; ITIL certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced English oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Business Objects administration.
  • Oracle knowledge at user level.
