A Day in the Life
As a Sr IT Technologist, you will architect and own the Microsoft 365 ecosystem for our organization. You will ensure that we deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that meet the business needs and align with the IT strategy. You will also collaborate with other IT Technologist, stakeholders, and vendors to plan, execute, and support Collaboration and Productivity projects and initiatives.• Design, implement, and maintain the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint , Power Platform, and other applications.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Teams at Medtronic
• Experience in Microsoft Teams administration, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Teams architecture, infrastructure, and configuration.
• Configure and optimize Microsoft Teams settings including meetings and webinar to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration
• Ensure Microsoft Teams complies with industry standards and company policies, implementing necessary security measures to safeguard sensitive and confidential information, including PHI and PII
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate updates, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Create and maintain documentation for the environments and solutions
• Develop and maintain user guides and documentation for collaboration tools and processes
• Evaluate and recommend new collaboration tools and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Microsoft products and collaboration tools and software
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years’ experience
• 1+ years Master data experience/knowledge
• 1+ years technical or business analyst experience
• 4+ years experience in managing Microsoft Teams environment
• 2+ years experience in managing SharePoint/OneDrive environments
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
NICE TO HAVE
• Strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and integration, including PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in Microsoft Teams administration, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Teams architecture, infrastructure, and configuration.
• Experience with third-party integration solutions and tools compatible with Microsoft Teams
• Experience with Microsoft Teams migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams security principles and best practices, including permissions management and user authentication.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple projects and priorities.
