Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who will lead design projects from ideation to execution. This person will work closely with clients, design teams, project managers, and vendors to create innovative, aesthetic, and practical design solutions that align with the Hipcouch brand ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end interior design projects from client brief to final handover.
• Translate client needs into creative design concepts, mood boards, and detailed presentations.
• Develop conceptual layouts, 2D/3D drawings, material boards, and BOQs .
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
• Source and specify furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials in line with budget and design goals.
• Ensure design quality, and resolve on-site challenges.
• Mentor junior designers and oversee the design teams output for quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and technologies to continually elevate project outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design / Architecture .
• Minimum 58 years of professional experience in an interior design firm or design-build setup.
• Proven experience in managing high-end residential or commercial projects end-to-end.
• Strong conceptual, visual, and spatial design abilities .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office .
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
