Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Bhopal

Employment Type: Contractual (1 year extendable based on performance)

Job Objective

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of large-scale IT and digital transformation projects. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies while ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines, KPIs, and success metrics
• Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously

2. Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as SPOC for government departments, vendors, and internal teams
• Conduct project review meetings and executive presentations
• Ensure compliance with Government IT policies and audit standards
• Follow CMMI Level 3+ processes

3. Team & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams
• Work closely with Data Centre teams for uptime, DR, backups, and capacity planning
• Manage vendors, consultants, and system integrators (SLA & contract governance)

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare DPRs, SRS, FRS, RFPs, and techno-commercial proposals
• Conduct bid evaluations and compliance reporting
• Track project health, risks, and dependencies via dashboards
• Use AI-enabled tools for reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis

5. Process Improvement & Technology Adoption

• Promote automation and DevOps practices
• Ensure continuous process improvement
• Implement modern project tracking and reporting systems

Required Skills & Expertise

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Understanding of CMMI Level 3+ standards
• Experience in Cloud, ERP, Web & Mobile Applications
• API integration & system interoperability knowledge
• Data Centre infrastructure understanding
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT governance & DPDP Act 2023
• Experience in VAPT, audits, and compliance

Tools

• MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps
• GitHub & CI/CD tools
• AI-based project tracking tools
• Web-based dashboards & MIS systems

Education

• BE / B.Tech (IT / Computer Science / AIML)
• OR
• Post-Graduation in IT / Computer Science / MCA / AIML

Experience

• Minimum 7 years in software/application development
• Minimum 4 years in team leadership/management
• Experience in handling large IT / ERP / e-Governance projects (State/National level)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
• Experience with Government / PSU / Enterprise projects
• Proven track record as a Project Manager
