  • Having in depth knowledge of Low & High side HVAC equipment like Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, AHU, FCU, Ventilation fans, Pressurization fans, VAV, PAC etc.
  • Inspecting HVAC systems and their components (e.g. air ducts, filters, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance
  • Developing and implementing a maintenance schedule for all HVAC equipment
  • Coordinating with team members and other professionals to ensure HVAC systems are installed and functioning efficiently
  • Designing HVAC systems and their components, considering the specific needs of the client or projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with system specifications, work safety regulations and quality control standards
  • Managing customer complaints and issues, and ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to resolve them
  • Training and supervising HVAC technicians to ensure they are competent and consistent in their job performance
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure work meets industry standards and requirements
  • Staying updated on the latest trends and technological advancements in the HVAC industry, and adjusting current practices and procedures accordingly
  • Develop & maintain relationships with customers by generating and presenting replacement bids
  • Maintain communication with vendors concerning warranty and equipment issues
  • Make sure parts are ordered in a timely fashion so deadlines can be met
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
  • Coordinate and schedule work activities and operations
  • Conduct system tests and inspections
  • Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure they are functioning optimally
  • Provide technical advice to team members and clients
  • Outstanding leadership and managerial skills to effectively manage a team of HVAC technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, clients, and suppliers, and to resolve disputes or complaints.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic tests on HVAC systems, interpret results, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify issues and come up with effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Allocate workload and prioritize work for faster execution
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Review invoices for accuracy daily
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely & professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations as related to building operations.
  • Recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis.
  • Identify energy conservation projects and assist in the planning and implementation.
  • Champion the continuous development, improvement, and training for maximum utilization of the energy management system.
  • Develop and maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals
  • Practice proper work methods, techniques, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications; enforce safety regulations to ensure compliance in providing a safe environment for staff, contractors, visitors.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum ten years’ experience with knowledge of HVAC systems highly suggested but not mandatory
  • Experience in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service & sales skills
  • Knowledge of common office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Ability to manage technicians working in the field
