Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Recruiter who can own the end to end hiring process, from manpower planning to joining, and help us build a strong, reliable team. You will work closely with founders and department heads to understand requirements, run a structured recruitment process, and ensure that only the right candidates move forward.
Key responsibilities
Talent acquisition
- Own the full recruitment cycle for all roles (tech, creative, marketing, operations, support)
- Discuss requirements with hiring managers, create clear job descriptions and candidate profiles
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, institutes and other channels
- Screen applications, shortlist profiles and conduct first level HR interviews
- Schedule and coordinate written tests, technical rounds and in person interviews
- Clearly explain role expectations, compensation slabs, probation, working days and company policies before any offer is issued
- Maintain structured interview notes and feedback for every candidate
Offer management and onboarding
- Draft and issue offer letters, candidate agreements and NDAs as per company templates
- Ensure all pre joining documents are collected and verified on time
- Track joining dates, follow up with selected candidates and reduce dropouts
- Conduct day one induction, explain policies and get all HR documents signed and filed
- Coordinate with IT and admin for workstation, access and other joining formalities
Process, compliance and records
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all candidates, interview stages and decisions
- Ensure all hiring and candidate communication follows company policies and local labour laws
- Help create and refine standard HR templates for offer letters, appointment letters, warning letters, exits etc
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information at all times
Stakeholder management
- Work closely with founders and managers to forecast hiring needs and plan recruitment drives
- Give weekly hiring status updates and dashboards
- Advise managers on market realities for salary levels, notice periods and talent availability
Employee experience (HR side)
- Support probation reviews and confirmations by sharing performance and behaviour inputs from hiring stage
- Help in basic HR activities like attendance tracking, leave records, employee file maintenance and policy communication, as needed
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience in recruitment or HR, with at least 2+ years handling hiring independently
- Strong experience hiring for IT or digital roles (developers, designers, marketers, content, support)
- Comfortable running a high volume of screening calls and in person interviews
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil, written and verbal
- Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail
- Ability to handle tough conversations with candidates regarding expectations, compensation, policies and performance
- Hands on experience with LinkedIn, Naukri and other hiring platforms
Nice to have
- Experience in a startup or small company environment
- Experience setting up or improving HR processes, candidate agreements and interview policies
Work conditions
- Work from office, Perungudi, Chennai
- Standard work week: Monday to Saturday
- Occasional extended hours during peak hiring periods or recruitment drives
