Job Title: Sr. Manager - HR

Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting To: CEO / Group Leadership

Role Overview

The Head HR & Administration will lead the human resources, compliance, and administrative functions across multiple group entities. This role is responsible for building standardized HR systems, ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening talent management practices, and supporting leadership with data-driven insights to enable organizational growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Policy Implementation

  • Design and implement standardized HR policies across group companies in alignment with labor laws and best practices.
  • Ensure consistent HR governance and regulatory compliance across all entities.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Reduce hiring cycle time and improve talent quality through competency-based hiring frameworks.
  • Collaborate with leadership on succession planning and internal talent development.

Performance Management & Organizational Development

  • Implement KPI/KRA-based performance management systems to enhance accountability and productivity.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and design learning & development programs.
  • Monitor post-training effectiveness and measure performance improvements.

Employee Lifecycle & Engagement

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and organize corporate events and sports activities to strengthen workplace culture.
  • Support leadership in building a positive and high-performance work environment.

Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, and benefits administration for a large workforce.
  • Ensure adherence to Income Tax regulations, TDS compliance, and Form 16 issuance.
  • Maintain error-free payroll operations and audit readiness.

Compliance & Statutory Governance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including labor laws, POSH regulations, and audit standards.
  • Serve as a POSH Committee Member and uphold workplace safety and grievance redressal mechanisms.
  • Support ISO, AEO, and legal compliance audits.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and present HR MIS dashboards and analytics for leadership and board-level decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights on workforce metrics and organizational trends.

Administration & Cross-Functional Oversight

  • Oversee administrative functions including IT, marketing coordination, and facility management.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, data security, and infrastructure effectiveness.

Leadership Support

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, compliance matters, and organizational development initiatives.
