Job Description
Job Role: Senior HIL Validation Engineer - ADAS / Chassis
Work Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ADAS and Chassis feature testing in HIL environments
- Develop and execute validation strategies using the dSPACE toolchain (Control Desk, Automation Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk)
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and validation documentation
- Conduct test automation using ECU Test tool
- Work with IPG CarMaker for full vehicle simulation
- Validate CAN communication using CANalyzer and CAN protocol
- Integrate ADAS sensor models (Camera, Radar, Ultrasonics) into vehicle simulation models
- Model vehicle/system-level HIL environments
- Analyze test results and generate detailed validation reports
- Understand system specifications and derive effective test scenarios
- Develop Python automation scripts (preferred)
Mandatory Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in ADAS/Chassis feature validation in HIL systems
- Strong working knowledge of dSPACE toolchain
- Experience with IPG CarMaker
- CANalyzer and CAN protocol validation
- ECU Test tool automation
- Test case and test script development
