Senior Hardware Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design & NI Systems Engineer with 58 years of hands-on experience in electrical schematic design, data acquisition systems, and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in National Instruments (NI) hardware platforms, cable harness design, and electrical troubleshooting. This role involves designing, developing, and validating electrical systems for testing and measurement applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Develop and integrate test systems using NI platforms (DAQ, PXI, CompactDAQ).
• Design and document cable harnesses with proper shielding, routing, and labeling.
• Configure signal conditioning and data acquisition systems.
• Perform system validation, testing, and troubleshooting using electrical test equipment.
• Interpret electrical drawings and ensure design compliance with standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system development and deployment.
