Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Role: Senior Hardware Design and Testing

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Location: Bangalore

Notice: Immediate or less then 15 Days

Roles and Responsibilities:

Electronics Hardware Design & Architecture

• Design microprocessorbased system architectures, ensuring robust performance, safety, and compliance.
• Develop both analog and digital circuits, addressing signal integrity, power management, noise immunity, and environmental considerations.
• Design and validate power supplies, sensor interfaces, and mixedsignal circuits.
• Create detailed schematics, perform simulations, and execute full product lifecycle development from concept to release.

3. Safety-Critical & ComplianceDriven Design

• Design and validate safetycritical hardware compliant with industry standards.
• Support EMI/EMC qualification testing and implement design strategies for noise reduction and robustness.
• Contribute to intrinsic safety and ATEX/flameproof product designs.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure global certification and compliance requirements are met.

4. CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Work closely with mechanical, firmware, evaluation, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware.
• Participate in design reviews, conduct design tradeoff analysis, and ensure the design adheres to DFMEA/DFM/DFS principles.
• Support design transfer and provide engineering guidance to manufacturing and testing teams.

5. Lab Testing, Validation & Prototyping

• Perform handson lab validation, debugging, characterization, and reliability assessment of prototypes.
• Use tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DAQ systems, and other bench equipment.
• Develop test automation/data acquisition setups using LabVIEW or Python.

6. Firmware & Embedded Support

• Perform basic embedded C programming for board bringup, debugging, and functional validation.
• Support hardwarefirmware integration testing and troubleshooting.

7. Documentation, Sustenance & Change Management

• Maintain highquality technical documentation across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Support sustenance engineering, AMPL updates, issue resolution, and product improvements.
• Create and process ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) to maintain controlled updates and traceability.
