Job Title: Senior Guidewire Developer (Remote)

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Guidewire Developer. The Senior Guidewire Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire solutions to meet business requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating application features, performing backend development, executing object-oriented programming tasks, debugging system errors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) based on business requirements.
• Develop, configure, and customize Guidewire applications using GOSU and related tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
• Document designs, solutions, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with Guidewire product enhancements and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Guidewire development and implementations.
• Strong expertise in Guidewire modules: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Proficiency in GOSU, XML, Java, SQL, and web services integration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Guidewire certification is a plus.
