We create visually driven stories for a digital-native audience and are building a design language that feels editorial, sharp, and instantly recognizable.

As we expand, we are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who understands visual culture, moves comfortably across platforms, and wants to help shape the aesthetic of a growing media brand.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on editorial design role for someone who thinks conceptually, works fast without compromising quality, and understands how visual storytelling behaves across digital platforms.

As a Senior Graphic Designer at The Established, you will play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling of our brand. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong editorial sensibility, a deep understanding of digital platforms, and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling narratives.

You will work closely with editors, writers, and brand teams to translate ideas into strong, culture-aware visual narratives. The role requires both creative ownership and collaborative execution in a fast-moving editorial environment.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptually strong visual work that enhances editorial content and engages audiences across across web and social platforms
• Design social-first content including carousels, motion graphics, and digital storytelling formats
• Collaborate with editors and writers to brainstorm and execute design-led ideas
• Contribute to the evolution of The Establisheds visual language.
• Translate editorial and brand partnership requirements into compelling visual narratives
• Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to translate content requirements into impactful visual narratives.
• Maintain brand consistency across all output while pushing creative boundaries
• Lead design projects from concept to final delivery, managing timelines and cross-team collaboration
• Stay current with digital design trends, internet aesthetics, and emerging visual tools
• Work efficiently within fast editorial turnarounds while maintaining high visual standards
• Conceptualise and design interactive graphics and multimedia elements to enhance user experience.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional design experience in fast-paced editorial, media, agency, or culture-led creative environments
• A strong portfolio demonstrating digital and editorial design sensibility
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro required
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus
• Working knowledge of UX/UI principles for digital platforms.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• A professional work ethic and the ability to deliver consistently strong output in a fast-moving editorial setting
