Senior Graphic Designer / Video Editor Digital Marketing (Team Lead)

Experience: 3-5 years

Salary: Up to 10 LPA (based on experience & skillset)

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview


We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer & Video Editor (Team Lead) to lead and curate digital marketing content for multiple brands. This is a brand-first, marketing-led design role, focused on defining visual systems, social media grids, and content direction rather than only hands-on execution.


The role requires a strong understanding of branding, grid design, motion direction, and content curation, along with the ability to guide, review, and elevate a design teams output.


Note : This is not a UI/UX or product design role. The work is strictly focused on brand-led digital marketing content.


Key Responsibilities


Digital Marketing & Brand-Led Content :


  • Lead and curate digital marketing creatives including:
  • Social media posts & reels
  • Ad creatives
  • Campaign visuals
  • Short-form videos & motion graphics


Ensure all content aligns with brand identity, tone, and campaign objectives

Translate brand strategy into effective marketing visuals


Grid Design & Visual Systems


  • Design and define social media grid systems and content frameworks for brands
  • Establish visual hierarchy, rhythm, and consistency across feeds
  • Curate and review content to ensure grids remain visually cohesive and on-brand over time
  • Guide the team on layout systems, typography, spacing, and visual balance


Video Editing & Motion Direction


  • Oversee video editing and motion graphics output for digital platforms
  • Set motion style and storytelling direction for reels and short-form videos
  • Step in for hands-on execution when required to maintain quality and timelines


Creative Direction & Team Leadership


  • Lead, mentor, and review the work of graphic designers and video editors
  • Curate, refine, and approve final outputs before delivery or posting
  • Allocate tasks, manage timelines, and ensure smooth internal workflows
  • Maintain high creative standards across all digital outputs


Collaboration & Strategy


  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to interpret briefs and campaign goals
  • Translate marketing strategy into clear visual direction for the design team
  • Balance creative excellence with performance-driven marketing needs


Brand Ownership & Quality Control


  • Act as the visual custodian for assigned brands
  • Ensure consistency across all digital marketing touchpoints
  • Adapt and review creatives for multiple formats and platforms without losing brand intent


Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design / Visual Communication or related field (preferred)
  • 35 years of experience in graphic design and video editing, primarily for digital marketing
  • Proven experience in leading or mentoring a design team


Strong portfolio showcasing:


  • Brand-led digital marketing campaigns
  • Social media grids & visual systems
  • Video editing & motion graphics work


Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:


  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects


Strong understanding of branding principles, digital marketing design, and social media platforms

Ability to think strategically while guiding execution

Strong communication, feedback management, and leadership skills

Candidates with a primary focus on UI/UX design, product design, wireframing, or app/web UX should not apply, as this role does not involve UI/UX work.
