Senior Fundraising Manager – Individual Giving

Over the past decade, we have partnered with more than 1,700 corporate organizations across the globe, planted over 13 million trees, and supported the livelihoods of 50,000+ farmer families through our community-centric afforestation and agroforestry models.

We work at the intersection of afforestation, sustainability innovation, farmer livelihoods, water conservation, CSR/ESG partnerships, IoT & data-driven forestry, and deep community engagement. Our approach combines on-ground execution with cutting-edge technology, including real-time monitoring, blockchain-led transparency, and IoT-based forest health systems.

As part of our global expansion, we recently incorporated ST Planet Foundation in the United States as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, enabling us to catalyze international climate action, build global partnerships, and replicate SankalpTarus model across new geographies.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and growth-driven Senior Fundraising Manager Individual Giving to lead and scale SankalpTarus retail and digital donor portfolio.

This role will own the strategy and execution of:

• Individual donor acquisition
• Recurring giving programs
• Event-based fundraising campaigns
• Donor retention and lifetime value growth

The position sits within the PACE (Patron Care & Engagement) department and plays a critical role in driving sustainable revenue growth through structured donor journeys and high-impact campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

1.Individual Donor Growth

• Develop and execute strategy to increase new individual donors
• Optimize online donation funnels in coordination with SEO & Ads teams
• Improve conversion rates and cost per acquisition

2.Recurring Giving Strategy

• Design and scale monthly/annual giving programs
• Build donor upgrade pathways
• Improve donor lifetime value through segmentation and personalization

3.Event-Based Fundraising Campaigns

• Lead thematic fundraising campaigns (Earth Day, World Environment Day, Diwali, Weddings, Memorial Giving, etc.)
• Define campaign goals, messaging, revenue targets, and timelines
• Coordinate landing pages, email journeys, WhatsApp outreach, and digital amplification
• Monitor performance and deliver post-campaign analysis

4.Donor Retention & Stewardship

• Design structured donor engagement journeys
• Improve renewal rates and repeat giving
• Drive personalized communication and impact storytelling

5.Data & Performance Management

• Track fundraising KPIs (revenue, acquisition, retention, ROI)
• Use data insights to optimize campaigns and donor journeys
• Maintain strong collaboration with digital marketing and communications teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, individual giving, or donor growth roles
• Proven experience driving digital and retail fundraising campaigns
• Strong understanding of donor acquisition, retention, and recurring giving models
• Experience leading event-based fundraising initiatives
• Ability to interpret performance metrics and optimize revenue strategies
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred)
