About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can own features end-to-end, from database design and backend logic to frontend experience and production deployment.

Youll work across the stack using a modern Ruby on Rails + React (Inertia.js) architecture and take responsibility for building, shipping, and maintaining production systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys product ownership, modern Rails development, and working closely with real business problems.

What Youll Do

1. Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js.
2. Implement frontend features using React.js, Inertia.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern HTML/CSS.
3. Build and consume REST APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications.
4. Design and manage relational data using PostgreSQL.
5. Implement background jobs and asynchronous workflows using Solid Queue.
6. Integrate and manage Stripe payments, including subscriptions, webhooks, and edge cases.
7. Write automated tests using RSpec to ensure code quality and reliability.
8. Containerize applications using Docker.
9. Deploy and manage applications using Kamal.
10. Own basic DevOps responsibilities, including deployments, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
11. Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
12. Use Git for version control and actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
2. Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
3. Hands-on experience with React.js and Inertia.js.
4. Solid experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
5. Experience styling applications using Tailwind CSS.
6. Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
7. Experience working with RESTful APIs.
8. Hands-on experience with Docker.
9. Experience deploying Rails applications using Kamal.
10. Experience implementing background jobs using Solid Queue.
11. Experience with Stripe payments and payment workflows.
12. Experience writing automated tests using RSpec.
13. Comfortable handling DevOps-related tasks (deployments, CI/CD, monitoring).
14. Strong Git workflow experience.
