Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of differentiating capabilities for Google Maps users in India, setting the bar for innovative experiences.
Drive critical technical projects and foster collaboration with Geo teams globally to innovate, design, and implement advanced features and playing a key role in product innovation and roadmap development.
Partner with engineering, product, and program management teams to define roadmaps and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions.
Mentor and guide team members to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and measure the impact of their work.
