Senior Frontend Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer UI to lead frontend development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, and JavaScript, capable of driving projects from design through deployment. This role requires strong ownership, architectural vision, and the ability to mentor teams while delivering scalable, high-quality web applications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of responsive, scalable, and high-performance web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Define and implement micro-frontend architecture, reusable component libraries, and design systems.
• Own end-to-end project execution: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, CI/CD, and production deployment.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and OIDC authentication flows.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based packaging, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to frontend developers; enforce coding standards and conduct regular code reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, accessibility compliance, and responsive design.
• Continuously evaluate emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements to the tech stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of frontend development experience, including 8+ years with Angular (latest versions). - Relevant experience- 5+ yrs Angular2+ Version (16/17- must have exposure or knowledge)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, RxJS.
• Experience with state management libraries (NgRx/ Akita/ any other).
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, micro-frontend architecture, and component-driven development.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with UI/UX collaboration tools (e.g., Figma / Adobe XD/ any other).
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Git/ GitHub Actions/ SVN , version control workflows.
• Strong background in database integration (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, No SQL etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Experience with OIDC flows and identity providers (Oauth- preferred, JWT, Keycloak, Azure AD).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solutions and demo work to stakeholders.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with React.js/ Next.js, including advanced concepts (dynamic routing, custom hooks, server components, multi-tenancy).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and similar.
• Exposure to any frontend testing frameworks and static code analysis tools.
• Experience with AI prompting, exposure to crafting effective prompts, integrating AI APIs, and optimizing generative outputs for usability.
• Experience with image processing using libraries like Fabric.js, Konva.js, Three.js, Sharp/Jimp etc.- Javascript libraries
