Senior Frontend Developer

Position Summary:

Bottomline Technologies continues to deliver compelling user experiences built with modern UI technologies to large banks and financial institutions around the world. We are looking to add the right individual to our highly skilled and dedicated UI Development group. As a UI Developer at Bottomline, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of Bottomlines key Platforms.

This position is based at our Bangalore, India office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with product designers and UX specialists
• Translation of UX designs into UI Components
• Participation in Code Reviews
• Provide clear communication to senior management
• Maintenance of Bottomlines UI Design Library

Required Skills:

• Strong JavaScript knowledge, both ES5 and ES6
• A strong proponent of clean, valid, maintainable, and semantically correct HTML and CSS
• A strong understanding of Responsive Design principles
• In-depth knowledge of the capabilities of IE11+, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
• Working experience of WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA success criteria

Preferred Skills:

• Experience writing unit and integration tests a plus
• Experience with Agile methodology a plus
• Working knowledge and experience with JIRA, Confluence and Git.

Education and Experience:

• 4+ years of UI Development
• Degree in modern Web Technologies or equivalent studies in Computer Science
• Online portfolio or live example of work
