Job Description
A Senior Front Office Associate is a senior-level employee responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the front office operations of a business. Their primary role is to ensure that all guests and visitors are greeted in a professional and courteous manner and that their needs are met during their visit. The Senior Front Office Associate must be knowledgeable about casino promotions, events, and amenities and be able to provide information to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervising and training front office staff: The Senior Front Office Associate is responsible for training and supervising the front office team, ensuring that they are providing quality service to guests and handling their duties efficiently.
· Greeting guests: The Senior Front Office Associate will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, greeting them in a professional and welcoming manner.
· Managing reservations: The Senior Front Office Associate will manage reservations, ensuring that all bookings are recorded accurately and that bands/reservations are allocated to guests appropriately.
· Handling guest complaints: The Senior Front Office Associate will address any concerns or complaints raised by guests in a professional and efficient manner.
· Maintaining records: The Senior Front Office Associate will maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and room availability, ensuring that data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
· Managing financial transactions: The Senior Front Office Associate will manage financial transactions, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and billing, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
· Performing administrative duties: The Senior Front Office Associate may perform various administrative duties, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
· Ensuring compliance with hotel policies: The Senior Front Office Associate will ensure that all front office operations comply with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent
· Experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Good attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
· Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating effectively with other departments.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
· Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Must be fluent in English, and any additional language is an advantage.
Senior Front Office Associate, candidates should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong leadership and organizational abilities. A degree in hospitality management or a related field may be required, as well as several years of experience in a front office or customer service role.
